When my family bought a house on Sveti Klement, a beautiful little island in the Pakleni Islands archipelago in the early 1990s, it was love at first sight for me as a child.
After graduating from university, various jobs, living in Split, Zagreb, and Brussels, there was a growing desire in me to do something on that island so that we could enjoy its beauties, sun and sea as much as possible and live as much as possible in harmony with nature.
Konoba/guesthouse Paradiso was created on the foundations of my family and our love for untouched nature, Mediterranean food and cooking.
Since there is no electricity or water on the island, our mission was anything but easy, but today we can proudly say that we have succeeded.
As parents of three children, we find childhood spent on the island invaluable for our children who spend their days in fresh air, swimming, diving, catching crabs and star-gazing.
